MOMENTS ARE LOST BUT THEIR MEMORIES REMAIN

The days give meaning to our daily life with their moments, as each moment fills our space and time, flooded with emotions and people, which awaken our senses and memories.
How many times have we not reminisced about moments we have lived, how often have we not wished we could go back in time?

However, even if we cannot truly relive those past moments, we all know that at least in one unique way we manage to return to the past and that way is memory.
Our memories are those that keep us company, that bring the past to mind at all times, that manage to give life to what has been lost, but has left a mark on us.

Even though moments are lost in the few minutes they happen, the memories they leave behind take root in us and keep us tied to them, like the roots that keep trees tied to the soil. And depending on the way we live these moments, the corresponding memories are created that accompany us, when the moments have become memories.

Moment and time. Memory and forgetting. Pairs of words with interrelated meaning that weave together the thread of life. Time is measured by moments but determined by memories. And oblivion leaves in the dark the moments it wants to be forgotten over time.
The memory. It seems as if he has the duty and the gift to preserve, to unite, to keep alive everything that once existed and no longer exists. The memory. She seems to remain unbounded and stable in time, but she changes, fades, flies high and where one thinks she has disappeared, she proudly returns. The memory. When moments become memories she stays in the present to measure them. For a while, for a long time, as long as time allows.
