Book
Memories have their own life, their own space and time, their own senses. In fact, when it comes to "memories of homelands", memories of distant but also familiar places, of human lives that identify themselves with the adjective "Cretan", while they have never visited Crete, the importance of memories acquires other dimensions. Traumatic experiences, refugee memories, ancestral habits are passed on and transformed into aspects of identity for the next generations.
